"Well I have put this little gem through its paces the last few months and let me say it has held up passed my expectations. The top has stayed screwed on tight. Never have I had to tighten it up. As for thinking I needed a regulator. Nope, as long as you are careful this powder comes out nice and even with the shake of a steady hand. Also, I have found it indispensable when going to restaurants.

This little sucker has turned good meals into great meals. Now here comes the part that is even better. I am not a very clumsy person but for some reason I drop my keys on the marble every single day. I don't know why, it just happens. So this little kit has fallen 5 feet almost everyday for three months. Yes, it has a tank-like shell.

I keep it on my key ring that houses the car keys and condo keys. So not only does it go through the rigors of my day in my pocket, but also has to withstand the streets of Toronto (in a sports car with stiff suspension). I also mentioned in my initial review that after this is finished I could top it off with my favourite sauce. Well that is still the case. But I am also going to buy one more. Cajun Blackened Seasoning

I have grilled chicken, gammon and a sirloin steak from our very good local butcher. For the chicken, I rubbed the seasoning into the chicken left it for an hour and grilled it and had it with a salad, absolutely perfect. I was surprised at the depth of flavour without masking the chicken. Sirloin I used 1/2 teaspoon each side and put it I a cupboard to marinade for an hour and grilled it and had it with chips and mushy peas, Ummmmmmm! doesn't get any better than this.

1/2 teaspoon or less per side of the meat is just right, anymore and it gets very hot. If you are into very hot use as much as you like.

The spice is all about creating a great Cajun inspired meal, use it on hamburgers, chicken, roast, vegetables, eggs even try it in rice, etc.

Cayenne Pepper Chilli Powder

Paprika has been the single most important ingredient in Hungarian cooking for more than two centuries. Hungarians consume 6,000 tonnes a year.

Paprika powder should rank very highly in the ever-expanding British spice rack. It should be up there with whole black peppercorns and mustard, or chilli powder, ginger and cinnamon, or even coriander seed, cumin and turmeric. Our Smoked Paprika is made by first drying and then grinding Red Peppers (Pimientos) into a fine powder. The unique flavour of Smoked Paprika is created by drying them in an oak wood oven. The hot (Picante) quality is derived from a rounded type of Pimiento that has a spicy intensity.
