Chilli Seeds, Borg9
This chilli has got a real family tree; it comes from (i) the 7 pot Bubblegum, which itself is a cross between a Moruga and a Yellow 7 Pot and (ii) a Naglah, which itself is a cross between a Bhut Jolokia and a 7 Pot Douglah. Coming from such a long line of superhot of course means that the Borg 9 is insanely hot so watch out for the creeping burn that will take over your tongue, throat and even your sinuses! The flavour of Bubblegum is what shines through first only to be replaced by a lingering aftertaste of Naga. Developed by John Harper in the UK this is a chilli head’s dream!
