Yes like all nagas it definitely bites but the Morich kind also has a kind of woody smoky flavour that will leave you wanting for more although beware that this chilli rates at 1.5 million SHU so be sure to know what you’re doing! Used in Bangladesh for centuries the Naga Morich works particularly well in slow-cooked dishes but is also great when turned into a relish or a sweet chutney.
