This chilli is on the cusp of plain silliness when it comes to the heat. Named after the district of Moruga from the island of Trinidad and Tobago in South America this chilli once held the Guinness World Record for hottest chilli! Like a lot of Trinidad 7 Pot chillies the pods have a rough and pebbly skin and are about the size of a golf ball. The flavour has to be tasted quickly before you are engulfed by the nuclear heat.
